Partnerships Manager - Healthcare
Full-time · Karachi, Pakistan
The role
Mimetic Machines builds learning and deployment environments for physical AI.
As Partnerships Manager - Healthcare, you will own our relationships with the hospitals, clinics, diagnostic laboratories and pharmaceutical companies whose sites we work at in Karachi. You will bring new partners in, take each one through its own approvals, structure the agreements that govern our work together, and make sure every commitment we make to a partner is kept, from the first conversation to the last payment.
The partners you bring in, and the trust the people at their sites place in you, decide where we can work and for how long.
What you will do
- Build the partner base. Identify the hospitals, clinics, laboratories and pharmaceutical companies we should work with, open the conversation with their directors, and take them from a first meeting to a signed agreement.
- Take each partner through its approvals. Administration, clinical leadership, and the ethics review a hospital requires, with the timeline known and the people who can block it already on side.
- Own consent on site. Write the consent process for each site with the partner's clinical staff, run it on the floor, train our field team on it, and keep the record that proves it was followed.
- Own the agreements. Terms, renewals, and the records behind every partnership, kept current and kept in order.
- Keep our commitments. Every partner paid correctly and on time, every question answered the same day, and any concern raised at a site resolved before we return.
- Keep everyone informed. A clear monthly picture of every relationship, and of where every site stands on consent, for the founders and for the partner.
You may be a good fit if you
- Have three to six years in clinical research operations, hospital business development, pharmaceutical institutional sales, or healthcare procurement in Pakistan.
- Have dealt directly with hospital directors, medical superintendents, heads of department, or the commercial and medical leads of pharmaceutical companies, and they still take your call.
- Have taken a project through a hospital's approvals, including an ethics review, and know how long it takes and who can stop it.
- Have run informed consent with patients or staff, and kept the record an auditor would later read.
- Are meticulous with paperwork and money. Every commitment you make has a date and a document behind it.
- Write and speak clearly in Urdu and English, with a ward nurse, a hospital director, and a professional abroad.
- Are based in Karachi and ready for regular travel across the country.
Strong candidates may also have
- A clinical, nursing or pharmacy degree before moving into a commercial or research role.
- Worked with the Sindh Healthcare Commission, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, or a hospital ethics committee.
- A standing among the directors of Karachi's hospitals, laboratory chains, or pharmaceutical plants.
- Worked with accountants or lawyers on commercial agreements in Pakistan.
