Fleet Manager - Human Data

The role

Mimetic Machines builds learning and deployment environments for physical AI.

As Fleet Manager, you will run our field operations in Karachi: the field engineers, the equipment they carry, and the sites they work at. You will plan the week, run the day, and answer for what the team delivers. Several sites run in parallel across the city, and within months you should know every one of them: who runs the floor, who takes part, and what a good day there looks like.

Everything we build downstream depends on the days your team runs.

What success looks like

A weekly plan that holds, equipment that is always accounted for, a team that knows its numbers, and sites that deliver more each month than the month before.

What you will do

• Plan and run the week. Set the site plan, assign the team, and adjust in real time as priorities change.
• Own the equipment. Every item issued, returned, and accounted for, every day.
• Lead from the floor. Spend most of your week on site with the team, uphold our operating and safety standards, and see the work for yourself.
• Set and track targets. Per person and per site, reviewed daily and shared weekly.
• Grow what we have. More from every site that is already ours, and new sites brought online smoothly with the Partnerships Manager.
• Build the team. Hire, train, and develop field engineers, and decide who stays.

You may be a good fit if you

• Have four to seven years in field operations or field sales, with at least three leading a team of ten or more on the ground.
• Have delivered a monthly target through a team, and can name the number you watched every day to do it.
• Are exacting about assets and records. Something missing bothers you more than a missed meeting.
• Speak Urdu and English fluently, are based in Karachi, and travel across the city every day.

Strong candidates may also have

• Led shift-based teams of hourly workers, including their timecards and pay.
• Managed hardware or vehicles in the field.
• Opened a new territory from nothing.
