Field Operations Manager

The role

We record skilled work at partner sites: workshops, factories, and farms. You lead the field team that records at them: the assistant managers who run the sites and the field engineers who run the recording days. This is a founding role, working directly with the founders.

The founders bring the sites. You make them produce. Every recording day has a plan, every engineer has a route, and every hour that leaves the floor has cleared the check. When a day is going wrong, the person the team looks to is you.

What you'll do

• Deliver the monthly target for recorded hours and sites completed as planned.
• Hire, train, and run the field team: assistant managers and field engineers.
• Coach and motivate the team through long days on hard floors.
• Set the daily plan and each engineer's route every morning. Read the day's hours with the team every evening.
• Walk every site your team records on each week. Know the owner and the foreman by name.
• Take each newly signed site to its first recording day: consent on file, schedule agreed, floor walked, workers briefed.
• Keep the rejection rate low and the daily reporting accurate and on time.
• Account for every device issued to the team.

What we look for

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4 to 7 years in field sales or field operations, leading a team of 20 or more.
• Area Sales Manager or Territory Sales Manager profile: you have carried a monthly target and delivered it through a team.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a field team.
• Strong work ethic and integrity. You start things without being told.
• High agency: you decide fast with incomplete information and own the result.
• Works well under pressure with several sites running at once.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
• Comfortable with hardware in your hands and dust on your shoes.
