Field Engineer

Full-time · Karachi, Pakistan

The role

We record skilled work at partner sites: workshops, factories, and farms, and we fine-tune embodied models on what we capture. You'll be responsible for a set of these sites and everything it takes to keep them recording: the schedule, the workers on the floor, the hardware, and the footage that has to clear QA before it leaves. This is a founding field role, working directly with the founders.

You'll run several sites at once across Karachi, one of our core capture markets. The models we train are only as good as the days you run, so the standard is high and the ownership is real: when something needs to happen for a site to keep producing, the person to make it happen is you.

What you'll do

  • Own the capture kits: inventory, charging, spares, logistics between capture days.
  • Run capture days: train workers on the kit, keep sessions on schedule, solve problems on the floor.
  • Enforce the close-out: data offload, QA audit, payouts, site sign-off.
  • Feed what breaks back to the team so it only breaks once.

What we look for

  • High agency: you decide fast with incomplete information and own the result.
  • 0 to 3 years in operations, logistics, or field work. Or you're an exceptional dropout.
  • Fluent Urdu and English.
  • Comfortable with hardware in your hands and dust on your shoes.
